We developed a refined wordmark for mai, a hair salon specialising in hair, colour, and styling. The custom serif logo features an elegant ligature connecting the a and i, subtly echoing the curve of a hair strand. This touch adds flow and personality to an otherwise clean, editorial mark — striking the right balance between premium and approachable.
To support mai’s brand presence and customer communication, we designed a set of printed materials including business card templates and a salon gift card. Both pieces follow the salon’s core palette — a deep burgundy paired with soft neutrals — and are laid out with clarity and elegance in mind. These materials ensure consistency across customer touchpoints, while feeling elevated and distinctly on-brand.
